How to get each Thai massage class
Students start with a Basic course or a stretch course first.
Students usually start with the Basic course and progress through levels 2-3-4-5.
To enroll in the advanced course, students must have taken the basic and intermediate or basic and stretch courses.
If you want to take Level 4 course you need to take Level 1-2-3.
If you want to take Level 5 course you need to take Level 1-2-3-4.
Level 1: Basic Course - Thai Traditional Medical Society Style
Course Description:
Learn the fundamentals of Thai massage, focusing on the flow of energy lines in the body. This relaxing course introduces basic postures, various Thumb and Palm Positions, Usages and Names, simple stretching techniques, and the ability to provide a 90-minute massage. Topics covered include:
- Fundamental postures and pressing techniques in Thai massage
- Various Thumb and Palm Positions, Usages and Names
- Understanding the energy lines (SEN) used in Thai massage
- Massage techniques for different body positions: lying on the back, side, stomach, and sitting
- Massage techniques for the leg, arm, waist, back, shoulder, neck, and head
- Beginner-level muscle stretching
Difference between 1-day and 4-day courses:
Choose from various course durations depending on your needs:
- 1-day: Ideal for travelers looking for a unique experience. Covers half of the content with partial practice.
- 2-days: Learn the entire content of one book over two days, with partial practice.
- 4-days: Engage in overall practice and practical tests to assess comprehension.

In addition to the massage techniques, the course covers basic knowledge such as energy lines in the body, various hand positions, Thai massage prayers, attendance etiquette, the qualities of a good Thai masseur, contraindications, and common Thai massage terminology.
Level 2: Intermediate Course - Thai Traditional Medical Society Style
Course Description:
Learn the second half of the Thai Traditional Medical Society style massage and many type of unique muscle stretching techniques.
In addition to relaxation techniques, you'll learn a face and chest massage. Topics covered include:
- Massage techniques for different body positions: lying on the back, side, stomach, and sitting.
- Massage techniques for the leg, arm, waist, back, shoulder, neck.
- Decollete (chest) massage.
- Face and ear massage for clients lying on back.
- Super Relax Head massage for clients lying on back.
- Many type of unique muscle stretching techniques.
Level 3: Advanced Course - Deep Tissur Technique (Use Elbow, Knee, heel, Fist Massage Technique, Acrobatic Stretching, Stomachand Head Massage
Course Description:
Students study knowledge of 10 major meridians of Thai massage.
Take your Thai massage skills to an advanced level with this course, which focuses on deep tissue massage, advanced muscle stretching, and abdominal massage.
Topics covered include:
- Knowledge of 10 major meridians of Thai massage
- Advanced techniques of the deep tissue massage using elbows, arms, fists, knees, shins, and soles for clients with larger or more resistant bodies
- Effective approaches to neck, shoulder, waist, and leg areas
- Advanced muscle stretching techniques
- Stomach massage
- Identifying and addressing personal weak points
- Time management and measurement techniques
Level 4: Symptom Reduction Massage, Pressure Points, Herbal Ball Compress, Combination Massage Course
Course Description:
Students study knowledge of 3 other lesser-known major meridians of Thai massage and minor line of the Kalathari.
Learn pressure points for therapeutic symptom improvement massage.
This course focuses on providing therapeutic acupressure treatments using herbal compresses with make a fresh herbal ball.
In addition students learn a combination massage that combines basic, intermediate and advanced courses and train to be able to do more practical Thai massage.

Level 5: Tok Sen, Royal Thai Massage, Unique Thai Stretching, Pelvis and Spine Adjustment
Course Description:
Deep understanding through reaffirmation of major 13 Thai massage meridians.
You'll learn acrobatic muscle stretching techniques and Tok-Sen wood hammer massage, pelvis, spine adjustment.
Foundation of Royal Thai massage (therapeutic pressure points treatment)
Topics covered in the course include:
- Identifying physical trouble spots and spinal distortions through pelvic examination (Body Problem Assessment)
- Basic of the chiropractic and pelvis, spine adjustment
- Advanced tok-sen technique (gentle beating of energy lines using a wooden hammer and a tree chisel)
- Royal Thai Massage
- Acrobatic stretching for Level 5
- Deep understanding through reaffirmation of major 13 Thai massage meridians.
- Counseling methods
Additionally, the course includes basic anatomy lessons for massage therapists, utilizing educational DVD materials.
Thai Stretch Massage Course
Course Description:
Learn how to do a massage with a lot of stretching that is traditional in northern Thailand.
Thai Stretch Massage is a specialized massage style that focuses on muscle stretching techniques. In this course, students will learn the fundamental postures and a variety of muscle stretching techniques. The course enables students to provide 120 minutes of massage.
Topics covered in the course include:
- Fundamental postures and pressing techniques in Thai stretch massage
- Various muscle stretching techniques
- Massage techniques for different body positions: lying on the back, side, stomach, and sitting
- Massage techniques for the leg, waist, back, shoulder, and neck
- Specialized Thai stretch massages that target specific muscle groups
Thai massage is often referred to as "yoga for two people." Thai Stretch Massage, with its emphasis on muscle stretching, is particularly popular among yoga practitioners and sports enthusiasts.
Difference between 1-day and 4-day courses:
Our courses typically span four days, with each level of learning taught over this duration.
- 1-day: Students will learn a variety of leg stretches.
- 2-days: Students will cover approximately 70% of the content in our book and engage in partial practice.
- 4-days: The fourth day involves overall practice and practical tests to assess comprehension.
